Dechox?

March is almost upon us and the first of March brings us many things, not least my birthday.
I wont tell you how old I will be, you can guess!

It’s also the start of national bed month, poor sleep is a major predictor of mental health so get to the Sleep Council’s website to see how you can improve your sleep.
They have a very useful sleep diary  and try their stress test!

For yogic techniques to aid relaxation and help sleep download my yoga nidra for sleep recording and check out my progressive muscle relaxation (PMR) video below.

Along with National Bed Month it’s also Ovarian Cancer awareness month, 11 women die every day from this and awareness of it is low among both women and (scarily) GP’s, follow this link to read more, do you know the symptoms?

The Marie Curie Great Daffodil appeal also starts and for those of you that may not know Marie Curie give help to those with terminal illnesses.

Time for a cuppa is Dementia UK’s big fundraiser, I’ll definitely be donating for that one.

Last but not least is Dechox which is the British Heart Foundation’s fundraiser which challenges you to give up chocolate for a month, I won’t be doing this, I shall donate but I won’t be doing this, definitely not, no way, and after reading their chocolate myth buster I want some choccy! Mmmm!!

Ooh and  I have my new yoga for stress class starting tomorrow and every Wednesday 2.30-3.30 at triyoga Camden, really looking forward to it and if you’re giving up Chocolate for a month you will absolutely need to come to it!
